Product Introduction

Short Description:

A unique, non-toxic, renewable carbon-based ARAMINOLIC resin developed for medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and engineered wood panels, offering excellent moisture resistance.

 

Key Benefits:

- Completely free of formaldehyde, phenol, and melamine

- High moisture and humidity resistance

- Bio-based with renewable carbon content

- Suitable for MDF/HDF with densities from 650 to 1100 kg/m³

 

Liquid Resin Properties:

- Appearance: Reddish-brown liquid

- Viscosity (20°C): 100 500 mPa.s

- Solids content: 58% 61%

- pH: 7 9

- Curing temperature (DSC): ~ 148°C

- Pot life (20°C): 20 days

- Density: ~ 1.24 g/cm³

- Working temperature: 20 40°C

 

Catalyst (Optional):

- Type: Ammonium salt aqueous solution

- Dosage: 0.5% 3% of resin weight

- Effect: Reduces curing time by ~2/3; improves water resistance

 

Performance on 12mm, 0.8g/cm³ MDF Panels:

- Pressing time: 17 s/mm

- Pressing temperature: 160 220°C

- Internal bond strength (EN 622-5): Up to 1.0 MPa

- Water absorption - thickness swell (EN 622-5): < 8%

- Modulus of elasticity (EN 622-5): Up to 4000 MPa

- Bending strength (EN 622-5): Up to 55 MPa

- Cyclic wet strength (EN 622-5): Up to 0.3 MPa

 

Handling & Precautions:

- Do not mix with acids

- Shake well before use

- May separate below 20°C preheat to 20°C and stir before use

- Waste disposal: classify as aqueous liquid waste
